Three Gold Awards for Sysdoc at the LearnX Awards 2021

We are ecstatic to receive three Gold Award placings from the 2021 LearnX Awards alongside our clients Fonterra and New Zealand Government Procurement.

Best Custom/ Bespoke Learning model: Unconscious Bias with Fonterra

This tailored learning solution was created to raise awareness of unconscious bias and combat it for a more inclusive, diverse, and ‘Good Together’ organisation that aligned with Fonterra’s business goals. Achieved through storytelling and learner-led scenarios and reflections, the learning experience created was meaningful and relevant.

We have now made these two e-Learning modules mandatory as they help support our people with raising their awareness around unconscious bias. We believe that these courses help to establish a base level of knowledge and ability, in order to bring about change and transformation and support our ongoing D&I efforts.

Best Pandemic Response: Fonterra Graduate Technical Programme - Ingredients Masters module

This award asked for entries to demonstrate a transition of an existing training project to an online delivery method in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. As graduates were restricted from receiving in-person training within labs, we created the Ingredients Master course, an online module that retained the ‘hands-on’ pragmatic experience that gave the learner the ability to see the cause and effect of their applied learning. The Ingredients Masters module received a Gold Award for the innovative solution with high-quality results.

I have to say that the online module is by far the best online module I’ve done! It was fun and interactive which was really cool.

Best Custom/ Bespoke Learning model: Whakaritenga Wananga

Whakaritenga Wananga – Planning for Better Outcomes with New Zealand Government Procurement

We received a second Gold Award in the Best Custom/Bespoke Learning Model category for our virtually facilitated learning experiences, designed to meet the needs of NZ Government procurement staff.

The strategy focussed on developing the capability of procurement roles in cultural competency and procurement practice in planning, sourcing, and contract management.

To meet this challenge, we adopted a human-centred design approach and engaged closely with our client, the NZGP capability team, to navigate this process.

Very encouraging, inclusive and even though we were 'virtual' for me that is very powerful...Appreciated the engagement in delivery of this course. Lots of opportunities to actively participate and express our views. Thankyou.
